Trying to repair a P0331 DTC code for bank 2. I had just replaced the Intake manifold because of bad runners then this code came up.
I am getting up there in age & seem to be having more episodes of "Brain Fog" these days, so I found a connector on the top left end of the valve cover just now, that was UNPLUGGED, &
I am not sure if I unplugged it the other day when I was starting to check all of the connectors, or if I originally missed connecting it when I changed the Intake Manifold last week. It was one of the 2 skinny wires that come out from the Manifold Valley where the group of 4 or 5 connectors on the front Left side are, & was hidden underneath the top 2 connectors.
I had thought that the front of the car was bank 1 & the rear at the firewall side was bank 2, so if I am right about that, the the wire I found disconnected today would most likely be from either the Bank 1 Knock Sensor or the Oil Pressure Switch.
A couple of questions on the Knock Sensors:
1) Is Bank 2 the side near the fire wall?
2) Can you direct me to a picture or drawing of the Bank 1 & 2 Wire Connectors?
I sure hope & would greatly appreciate it if there is anyway you can help me out with this!
