2017 Kia Sorento DTC P200A

My check engine light popped up and my Kia UVO app says it’s a possible condition with my engine control system. This error is under my power train tab. I took my car into the Kia dealership and they said the vacuum valve needs to be replaced but it would not be covered under warranty which I don’t understand because all I’m seeing in internet searches is that this falls under my power train warranty. Has anyone else had this problem? I’m a nursing student on a tight budget, I can’t afford the quote the Kia dealership gave me at this time.
