Does anyone else find the driver's seat in the 2024 Kia Sorento Hybrid uncomfortable?

Ex or SX? How long have you had it? I’m considering buying. Perhaps they just need time to break in?

I have a 2022 SX Prestige and honestly it has the most uncomfortable seats I've ever experienced. I wish I hadn't bought the vehicle.

I have the 2025 SX Prestige Hybrid. I too, and my wife agrees, the seats are hard and uncomfortable. I moved to a Kia after driving Lexus since 2008. Comparatively, Lexus seats are much more comfy. I love this Kia, but staying on topic, I long for the comfortable Lexus seats. We just completed a road trip from Florida to New York and back. Our smartest decision was to purchase two memory form seat cushions. They were "life (butt, as it were) savers." I find it incredible that such a well-appointed vehicle has such uncomfortable seats.

Automobile seats, imo, should be comfortable from day one.

I'm looking to purchase the 2026 hybrid in SX trim. We normally do short city trips (about 10 miles roundtrip), with the occasional 2+ hour trip. Is the discomfort only on long trips or have folks noticed this on shorter trips too?

I'm sorry to report, these seats are uncomfortable even on short trips. My wife didn't complain on the test drive, I suppose due to all the bells and whistles that distracted her. After purchase she just didn't say anything for a month or two. I casually asked, so how do you like our car now. She said, "well, it's great except for these freaking (she used another word) seats. they are so hard and uncomfortable. Interestingly, that same day I saw an ad on line for great memory form seats. I ordered instantly. We used them on the 2500 mile road trip and were sooooo very happy we did. That trip would have been intolerable without them. But, that's us. You may have enough "personal" padding. If you purchase, I don't suspect Kia will change the seats since so many improvements were made for the 2025 SX. You may want to be ready to purchase cushions on the day you drive away from the dealer. Sorry!

I agree. Worse seats ever. We are considering selling. Who cushions did you buy?
