dead 2022 sorento lx AWD

just purchased a used 2022 sorento lx. 40,000 miles... A formal rental..rolled the dice again....purchased a 16 versa cvt the same way..still rolling at 190,000 miles. Had for about 1 month, wife started it and it quickly died.strong smell of burning electrics in the cabin and engine bay..smelled expensive. No spark as far as i can tell. Crank no start......Kia dealer sez 3 weeks until they can diagnose gonna give my old school mechanic first try in a few days..then a mobile pro mechanic..then its dealer time. i will update getting old and purchased the car so i would not have to be doing maintenance anymore..and have a reliable car...should have listened to Scotty ....another issue is the apparent lack of manuals to purchase

update..my old school mechanic checked it out..and as i thought..no spark. found #3 coil was bad..and a 20A fuse wasn't good.. gonna get a new cop and see. he did get it started and that's something...thinking when i install the new cop..whatever caused the problem will blow that one also..we will see

purchased 2 cops..1 spare..and replaced the 20a fuse..installed and so far so good..we will see if it was just a bad cop..im amazed it blew a fuse also.. never had a wire or cop fail and blow a fuse..
