We have a 2016 Kia Sorento SXL. And, we love this car. It currently has 84,000 miles.
Of late it has developed an engine whine while the engine is cold.
After warming up the whine disappears.
The Kia dealer said it was likely the High Pressure Fuel Pump.
I'm not so sure about the diagnosis.
So, I would greatly appreciate any and all input as to what the cause of the whining may be?
