Hello! I followed a link from the Telluride forum to find this place. I've been doing alot of research and was originally set on either a Telluride or a Palisade. The Palisade entered the equation when research told me it favored luxury over the Telluride's ruggedness. I'm coming out of an S550 Mercedes and while I know its not possible I'm going to get the same experience with the new Sorento, I do know a few things.

1. It's going to be very comfortable and serene in the cabin
2. The top trim is going to have every bit of technology and every safety feature I need
3. It looks really great

As I edge closer and closer to retirement I'm paying off all my bills so I can take it easy with as little to worry about as possible. I want a good vehicle that I'm happy to drive, comfortable in with a great warranty and NO payment. The 2020 Cadenza is also a contender but I think I want to ride off into the sunset in something with a higher seating position.

So anyway that's what I'm doing here. I was hoping this would be a busy community but I see its just getting started. I'll be happy to contribute as time allows.

Yep! I just bought my 2015 Sorento LX last Wednesday. I am THOROUGHLY thrilled with the vehicle. With the 3.3L it has plenty of power and is loaded for a comparable trim option with other vehicles. Lovin' it!

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your new Sorento! What did the Sorento replace for you? I'm glad you found us. :)

Well, I drive 60 miles a day, but I couldn't do something like a very small hatchback such as a Versa Note or something similar as I do some pretty extensive mobile detailing on the side, so I needed economy mixed with cargo space. The fact that this Sorento is also pretty loaded and ultra-comfortable is a major plus! It replaced an aging Dodge Durango V8 that had a serious drinking problem! He drank WAY too much gas!

I hear you on the Dodge Durango. The Sorento is more luxury oriented. It's a great all-around vehicle for performance, economy and utility...
