I have a 2016 Kia Sorento, 4 cylinder. I'll try and make this short..Kia replced the radiator and a few months later, it overheated and shut off. After it cooled down enough, i saw that they forgot to plug in the fan, which caused the overheating..fast forward, after driving a few days, I got in the KIA and started it, I saw the display where the radio and backup monitor is was not coming up, the clock was out, and the low tire pressure light was on, and I couldn't put it in drive without unlocking the shifter. We got going and after driving a few miles down the road, everything came back on and was working correctly. This keeps happening intermittently, it might go for months then start again, and do it for days straight, then not for a while again.. KIA said they checked all the electrical connections etc. and was guessing it was the ECM. Could ther overheating issue have caused this? I haven't replaced theECM yet either. It's a head scratcher. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
