Thanks for the add. By my username I am a diesel mechanic, I'm pretty good with older domestic gas engines, this is my first KIA. I have about everything figured out except the electrical contacts of the cam gear. My assumption is it is a variable cam timing mechanism. My problem, is all kits listed appear to show a mechanical assembly not electrical. Is the mechanical an upgrade? Is the mechanical compatible? What about the ECM? Any good advice is appreciated and thank you.
