I have a 2019 Kia Sorento that is equipped with a DCT. When I am driving around 35 to 45 mph the transmission does not want to adjust with my slight accelerations and decelerations. It does not respond to the slight changes. The engine feels like it is not getting enough torque or fuel. It has been doing this since I purchased the vehicle new. The dealership is telling me that it is normal behavior with that type of transmission. All the research I have done states the exact opposite. The advantage of a DCT is that it allows the transmission to shift quicker and maintain power, not lose power, which is what I am seeing. I was wondering if anybody else was experiencing the same thing and what to do about it. The dealership that I am working with won't do anything about ist. They are telling me that it is normal.
