Key fob remote start

On a 2021 Sorento. Is there anyway to extend the run time when started with the key fob ? And can you change the heater settings when I use the Key fob to remote start the heater is always on 72 ?

I haven’t tried the remote start yet so I’m afraid I can’t answer most of your questions. However, if you download the Kia UVO app (I believe there is a free subscription for one year), it has both a remote start feature and a custom temperature setting for the remote start. (Disclaimer: I haven’t actually tried it yet but it seems pretty foolproof). Hope this is helpful!
 
I use the UVO app for remote start, it's actually pretty cool. My car was sitting out the other day and it was REALLY cold that night. Nice to come out to a warm car when I left. :D
 
UVO app works well. Can set all the heatin/defrost (incl. seat, steering whee). Cool in the hot weather and ventilate seats. After trial UVO is $149/yr (12.50 a month).
 
I was wondering,,, with UVO,,,,, would that give me navigation?
I thought I had this when I bought this 2017,,, kinda bummed
 
I don’t know if you need Nav to get UVO but UVO alone would not give you Nav. I don’t know what year UVO first came out.

I don’t know if you can extend the run time and I have not been able to pre-select the heater settings when I last leave the vehicle so they come up on key fob remote start.
