I have owned a 2022 Kia Sorento SX with the 2.5 turbo and 8 speech DCT (Canadian spec) since December 27 of 2021. Recently, it has started to rev hang when driving. It happens in most drive modes and is not consistent. Sometimes whether I am coasting or keeping a consistent throttle input, it happens. It usually hangs around the 3,000 RPM - 3,500 RPM range (where it usually likes to shift in sport mode). It does not seem like the transmission wants to upshift until ~15 seconds later. It can be fixed in a couple of seconds by manually upshifting it (thankfully the computer does not fight with you). I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue. The car does not have any recalls right now, just the fire hazard for tow hitch-equipped models but this car is not equipped with a tow hitch.

I am trying to get some video of this issue occurring and I will post it once I get some. I am yet to figure out a way to repeat it consistently. It has been going for about the last 3 months (which I did not specify in the original post).
