Need to know if this is normal!

Hello everyone I am a new Sorento owner. I have a 2021 SX. It doesn’t even have 200 miles on it yet. Anyway my husband checked the oil dipstick last night and we noticed that the oil smells like straight gasoline. Should I take it to the dealer or is this to be expected with a new turbo gdi motor? I’ve pretty much just been out putting around town in it. Also we noticed that even after being parked and turned off for hours last night there was still quite a bit of heat coming from under the hood. Is this concerning?

When in doubt, have it check out. You have nothing to lose and if something is wrong it will get fixed under warranty.
