Remote FOB for 2013 Kia Sorento

Does anyone know if a remote for A 2013 Kia Sorento can be program at some place else other than the Dealership? I bought a remote off Amazon and Batteries Plus software would not program it!

I've got a friend that just bought a 2010 Hyundai and did the same thing-bought another fob and now after checking with some auto lock services, he's being told a dealer has to program it.

I was told that too! but a locksmith was able to do it from the remote I bought off amazon. There is a warning in software that states reprograming may wipe out both remotes, but that was not the case! The dealer wanted $425 the locksmith was only $105.

I bought one off eBay and took it to the locksmith to reprogram and it turns out there are 3 different ones that all look the same. It cost me $120 to get the right one bought and programmed at the locksmith.
