Hello,
Since Christmas my Sorento started showing some annoying problems. The car is 2003 2.4 with LPG installed on it. Filters (gasoline, lpg and air) and oil have been changed 1500km ago. Injectors have been changed 12000km ago. Air flow sensor is new.

At first, the car would start at very high rpm. I noticed my accelerator pedal has sank a little. After inspecting under the hood, i noticed the cable is not turning back. I sprayed WD40 on the spring on the throttle body, where the accelerator cable connects. It was okay for a day or two, and after that the next problem showed. The car wouldn't start the first time. I have to crank it 10-15 times, before i even hear some explosions in the cylinders. When it tries to start, it makes a few rpms and dies, and the next crank is okay, with the car starting at 1500+ rpms. After several seconds it calms down. Note that, after the initial successfull start, the car has absolutely no problems with starting. I can turn it off and stat it again 50 times - no problems. The problem only shows after the car has stayed off for several hours. The accelerator pedal still stinks a little, but if i press it several times, it releases. I will disassemble the throttle body and the cable (i think there's junk in the cable sleeve) and clean them, but i have no idea if the bad start is connected to the throttle body problem, since there wasn't the 10-15 starts problem, when the pedal was sinking ...

I hope someone can throw some ideas at me where to look at and what to check ...
Thanks in advance!
